All students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of juxtaposition and exaggeration while creating a drawing combining multiple subjects in an invented space.
Juxtaposition: an act or instance of placing close together or side by side, especially for comparison or contrast. Exaggeration: The act of doing or representing in an excessive manner. Surrealism: the principles, ideals, or practice of producing fantastic or incongruous imagery or effects in art, literature, film, or theater by means of unnatural or irrational juxtapositions and combinations. Project due block day How can you make your project look more finished? What kind of mixed media can you add to your piece? Do you need to go back in with ink or tempera?
